According to the Internet marketing research company ComScore, Israel is number 2 in Social Network usage, with the average time per user on social networks being 9.2 hours per month. Russians are currently number 1 with 9.8 hours, and Turkey is 3rd out of all countries at 7.6 hours per month.

Interestingly, Israel is also number 2 in the world, behind Canada, in terms of how many hours is being spent online (38.3)

These stats are striking as they indicate how users are trending. Israel’s small (7.6 million people) population, the rising average marriage age, and the renaissance of smart phones makes single Israeli youths prime social network users on platforms like Facebook.

Indeed, Israel is certainly a country to look at when targeting social media audiences.
