Movember’s Social Media Success
Movember’s ongoing success can be attributed to the large community it has built on Social Media platforms, such as Facebook & Twitter. Last year, Movember was named the most-talked about charity by the Third Sector Charity Brand Index.
Upon registration, each Mo Bro is given some Mo Space, a page where they can update their progress, make donations, and interact with other participants. Bringing in the competitive element, you can challenge other Mo Bros and friends, earn badges, network and share your page on channels, such as Facebook and Twitter.
Fast Fact: Last year, 30% of Movember.com’s traffic came from Facebook, resulting in over 10 million visitors to the site. That was a 37% increase than the year before.
