Mark Zuckerberg noted that they ” will continue to operate independently” within the Social Media network.

Jan Koum, WhatsApp co-founder and CEO, said, “WhatsApp’s extremely high user engagement and rapid growth are driven by the simple, powerful and instantaneous messaging capabilities we provide.”  Among other advantages of using the mobile app for sending text messages, images, audio and video for free using data, WhatsApp’s main policy is the “No Ads” rule. The app charges users $0.99 subscription fee after their first year.
